Problem:

Several times, the size of terminators of dimensions is small or very large in the 2D drawing(refer the snapshot below) and most people are not knowing where they can control the size of these terminators. To tackle this issue, please follow the steps below.

Steps to resolve:

1. Once you create 2D drawing then, after that, check the dimension style used for dimensioning the element from the Dimensioning tab under the Detail Styles, you can check the used Dimension Style from the model as well.

2. Now, in the search ribbon type Dimension Style and open its dialogue.

3. We can see in the snap below; the stroke size is little bit larger as compared to drawing.

4. To control the size of terminators, now open the Dimension styles dialogue box and select the style which you have used for dimensioning. Then, under the geometry tab, in the Terminator settings
reduce the width and height of the terminator.

5. Here, we will reduce the size of terminator to a suitable value and will save the settings.

6. We can perform the same operation from the Advanced tab as well. Under Advance tab>Graphics>Terminators>Width and height, from here also we can control the size of the terminators.

7. In the last step we will update the 2D drawing to update all the changes made and then we will see proper size of terminators displayed in the drawing.
