This WorkSpace CSB will make the vital connection between the CSB and the ProjectWise WorkSpace.
Please follow the below steps to achieve this.
1. In ProjectWise Administrator, under WorkSpaces > Managed > WorkSpace right-click over the WorkSpace Level and select New > Configuration Block.
2. In the New Configuration Block Properties, enter the name PSCE_Dynamic_WorkSpaceName and the description ProStructures CONNECT Edition Dynamic WorkSpace. Once complete, click Apply.
The dialog title will change to PSCE_Dynamic_WorkSpaceName Properties.
Note: In the name section underscore ‘_’ (i.e. PSCE_Dynamic_WorkSpaceName) is not mandatory, one can use blank space also (i.e. PSCE Dynamic WorkSpaceName).
3. Go to the Configuration tab, click on Plus button, and Add the following variable:
Add Variable to the PSCE_Dynamic_WorkSpaceName CSB -
Name |
_USTN_WORKSPACENAME |
Description |
Define Dynamic WORKSPACENAME Variable (_USTN_WORKSPACENAME) |
Add Value |
Operation Type: '='- Assignment Value Type: String Value: $(lastdirpiece (dms_parentproject (_dgndir))) |
Locked |
YES |
The final dialog will look like the below image. Once all good, click on the OK button.
Note: _USTN_WORKSPACENAME Sets the "Name" of the active WorkSpace configuration. ProStructures will look for the $(_USTN_WORKSPACENAME).cfg file in the folder defined by the variable _USTN_WORKSPACESROOT. The default location for the _USTN_WORKSPACESROOT is $(_USTN_CONFIGURATION)WorkSpaces/.
In this way, we need to create new WorkSpace level CSB for ProStructures.
Next Step: Create new "WorkSpace" level CSB called PSCE_UNITSYSTEM.
