Overview

This CSB will make the vital connection between DGN and ProjectWise WorkSpace according to units.

Steps to be follow

Please follow the below steps to achieve this.

1. In ProjectWise Administrator, under WorkSpaces > Managed > WorkSpace right-click over the WorkSpace Level and select New > Configuration Block.

2. In the New Configuration Block Properties, enter the name PSCE_UNITSYSTEM and the description Set WorkSpace according to dgn units. Once complete, click Apply.

The dialog title will change to PSCE_UNITSYSTEM Properties.

Note: In the name section underscore ‘_’ (i.e. PSCE_UNITSYSTEM) is not mandatory, one can use blank space also (i.e. PSCE_UNITSYSTEM).

3. Go to the Configuration tab, click on Plus button, and Add the following variable:

Add Variable to the PSCE_UNITSYSTEM CSB -

Name	_PS_UNITSYSTEM
Description	Default unit system setting
Add Value	Operation Type: '='- Assignment Value Type: String Value:  Metric
Locked	YES

The final dialog will look like the below image. Once all good, click on the OK button.

Tip: When you are working with an imperial workspace e.g. USA_CANDA_Imperial. Set the variable value to imperial.

In this way, we need to create new WorkSpace level CSB for ProStructures unit system.

Next Step: Create a new "WorkSet/Project" level CSB called PSCE_Dynamic_WorkSetName.
