The ProSteel has separate commands for creating Plate funnel, Enhanced plate Funnel, extended funnel etc. But, not for conical shaped funnel. In this wiki, we will learn how to create a conical funnel by using Arc Plates.
Refer the steps below for better understanding.
1. First, place an 180º arc with AutoCAD ARC Command and then mirror it to form a complete circle.
2. Now, under ProSteel workflow, navigate to the ‘Plates’ command or type in ‘PS Plate in the command line.
3. From the ProSteel Plates dialog box, under the Arc Plates tab, set the thickness, width for funnel. Then Put the rotation angle as per requirement.
4.Once Arc is selected, you will see plate inserted, enter the rotation angle if not entered and lick on -Phi the plate will rotate on the negative side by an entered rotation angle. (refer the image below)
5. Repeat the same procedure for second arc, and you will get the desired object in the form of conical funnel.
