In this wiki, we will learn how to get imperial shape names along with metric units/values in the ProStructures for AutoCAD.
Refer the steps below for better understanding.
1. First create a new file. Go to File>New and then select the drawing template PS191_Metric.dwt.
2. Then, select the unit as ‘Metric’ for a new drawing.
3. After that, navigate to shape dialog box and open the shape catalog. Here, select the display of the shape names as imperial which will display metric shapes names in imperial.
4. Now, place any metric/imperial shape you will see that its name will appear in imperial format. However, the all values will remain in metric unit.
