The Partlist needs to be sorted by name, material or others
Background
Open the Partlist Editor via create Partlist / Settings / edit Partlist Definition
Steps to Accomplish
Preperation
- We need the column Header to define the sorting order.
Open the setting for the partlist.

- Switch on the display as table.

- Now the part list can be displayed as a table.
Search for the column headers you like the part list sorted at.
For example POS__NUMBER for the position number.

Option 1 placing a Sortorder
- Goto Uservariables and edit in the Partlisteditor

- add MYSORTORDER as a Uservariable
-
Insert your wished sorting Variables by using edit
like "Name+Material+POS__NUMBER"

- Result: In this case the Partlist is sorted first by name, than by Material and than by Positionumber
