Background

When creating a Detail Style for Anchor Plan there are some settings necessary so you can use it  to Detail an Anchor Plan.

Scenario:

Create a detail Style that you use for Anchor Plan

Steps to Accomplish

Create Detail Style for Anchor Plan

  1. Create a New Detail Style. There are Different ways on how to create a Detail Style

2. In this example I will name it as Anchor Plan

Note: Make sure that when copying a Detail Style it is not set as a default or you will not be able to copy it.

3.This will now appear in the list. To make some changes right click on the Anchor Plan detail style and then select Edit Detail Style

4. You may now Edit the Anchor Plan detail Style.

Under 2D Display > Common > Views

Screen shot below shows the settings that you need to have and consider when creating a style for Anchor plan.

 5. Once you are done save the Detail Style and you may now use it.

Things to Remember

  1. The baseplate must be created using AutoMatic connection. ProSteel will then recognize it as part of Anchor Plan
  2. If the plate is created manually you need to create Manual Link  between the plate and the column. See link below for you reference. http://communities.bentley.com/products/structural/drafting___detailing/w/structural_drafting_and_detailing__wiki/17703.ps-manual-link
