Overview

The ‘PST NC Shipping Number’ tool can be used to update all the selected steel plates/flats with the shipping number in the format “Position number + Material + Total Count of elements’ (refer the image below) where the total count is the count of all parts with the same position number in the current selection.

This wiki explains the steps to use this tool.

Note: This tool is compatible and only works with ProStructures CONNECT Edition Update 5 and onwards.

Method

1. Navigate to ProSteel Tools and select the tool ‘PST NC Shipping Number’ and select the plates/flats.

2. The process will get complete and this will throw a message as updating of shipping number of (total) steel plates/flats.

3. Finally, users can use the updated shipping number as the file name as while generating NC Data it is possible to keep the file name as shipping number of the steel flats.
