Overview

 This tool is used to organize ProStructures objects from different layers into Display Classes. This tool helps you to work within your model efficiently. This wiki will show you different ways how you can use the Display Class dialog.

Accessed it from:

• Ribbon: Steel > Home > Classification > Display Class
• Ribbon: Concrete > Home > Classification > Display Class

• Key-in: PROSTRUCTURE CLASSIFY DISPLAY

Applying Display Classes:

Display classes can be applied to elements in ProStructures 3D models when they are created or later by editing their properties. In the element insertion dialog the display class can be selected for modeled elements. When creating connections and structural objects (stairs, handrails, etc.) you can select the display class that is to be used in the creation of the parts created by the function.

When editing parts the display class can be edited in the assignment tab of the part's properties.
