When the preview/drawing is generated for GA drawing, default settings may generate multiple position flags for same position number which get displayed in the drawings.
Sometimes all the positional flags in the drawing are not needed, so that we can reduce the numbers. In this wiki, we will learn how to control the count of position flags and reduce their number in the drawings so that we can avoid manual editing the drawings.
Follow the steps below to set the Detail Style settings accordingly.
1. Navigate to the Detail Center located under Drawing Production Tab and under Views tab click on the view and right click to edit its Detail Style.
2. Now, in the Detail Style Dialog, under the Descriptions tab click on the ‘Position Flags’ option and
then click on option edit position flag template. (Make sure that proper position flag template is selected)
3. This will open position flag distribution settings dialog. In here, under the ‘Options’ section there are several options to control the position flags distribution. Check the option ‘One part per position Number’ option.
4. This will display position flag for one part having that position number. (refer the image below)
In this way , we can avoid displaying the multiple position flags through these settings and keep the drawings neat.
