Background
The background color can be switched from black to white globally.
Also it is possible to adjust the background color of single view styles.
Technical Notes
Change Background color globally to white
Go to Menu Workspace/Preferences.
select View Options and the list on the left hand side and activate Black Background -> White.
This should work now for standard view styles such as Wireframe
Change Background for view styles
open edit dialog for view styles
make sure the correct view style is selected (list on left hand side)
now you can change the background color to any color
at the bottom is a preview of the view style
if you want to change the Background for Detail Center Preview, just make sure that it applies for the settings of View window 8 too.
