Problem Description
How to create an Elliptical shaped Steel Plate ?
Steps to resolve
1) Place an ellipse in your model along which you need to insert the steel plate.
2) Now, select the Key-in command and type in the value drop curve and press Enter.
3) Now the Facet Curve dialog box opens, here select Equal Chord length as the method, Face To as Line String. Type in 150 in the Number section.
4) After this, select the ellipse and right click to Accept.
5) Now, in the Steel placement, select the Plate tool and in the Straight plates tab, select the second placement option i.e. Insert Plate by a selected Polygon.
6) Select the dropped ellipse and the Elliptical Steel Plate gets placed.
