Overview
In this wiki, we are going to learn how to access the additional features or settings while working in Expert Mode. To access these extra features or settings one needs to activate the Expert Mode in Global Settings or Options under the Dialog Settings page.
Steps to be follow
Please follow the below points to access these additional settings.
1. By Setting the Dialog settings to Expert mode, one additional setting is available under the Options tab in the Global Settings dialog.
2. The Expert Mode activates a new page in the Global Settings called ‘Files’. Under the Files page, one can access the most important system files to customize them within the application.
** Please note that you have access to this page only via “Expert Mode” because the modifications made here have a decisive influence on the operation of the program**
3. If you have activated the Expert Mode in the Global Settings, one button will be additionally displayed in the Drill and Plates/Polyplates dialog box, which permits editing of the Hole Diameter Table (pro_st3d.hdt), Plate Thickness Table (pro_st3d.ptt) and Plate Description File (pro_st3d.pdc) respectively.
4. One can LOCK the required template against overwriting under the Template Manager. This function is only available in Expert Mode. After locking the template one can also prevent it from deleting.
And the same can UNLOCK to unblock the templates that were blocked against overwriting. This function is also only available in Expert Mode.
In this way, we can access different types of ProStructures and ProSteel files and also the additional features or settings in the Expert Mode.
