Overview
In ProSteel, you can have an option to lock the Part Properties so it cannot be edited unless or otherwise you do it via the logical link.
This WIKI will show you how to disable this option and be able to do some assignments.
Method
1) Go to ProStructures Options > Loglinks and turn off the ‘Lock editing of part properties’
2) This will enable to edit the Part Properties of the objects with Loglinks
