Problem

In the complex drawing, usually, there are so many hidden lines that get generated when the drawing is generated from Detail Center. To avoid these lines there is a separate setting available in the Detail Styles.

In this wiki, we will see how to turn off the Hidden Edges from the Detail Style of the view/part

Solution

1. Open the Detail Center Standard Tool located under Drawing Production.

2. Now, select the Detail Style, right-click on it, and click ‘Edit Detail Style’

3. Now, under the Detail Style dialog, go to 2D Display and click on the common tab.

4. Here, Uncheck the option ‘Hidden Edges’ and regenerate the drawing. This will hide all the hidden edges from the drawing.

In this way, you can hide edges that get displayed in the drawing.
