When one places a workframe in the model, the axes description of workframe appears by default. Sometimes, user wants to change the axes descriptions or apply manual settings to these axes descriptions. From the workframe settings dialogue, one can make the changes in the axes descriptions. In this wiki, we are going to learn about Individual settings of axes descriptions.
1. Double click on the existing workframe which you have placed in the model. This will open the workframe settings dialogue. Under the Text X or Text Y tab ( click on the one who’s axes description settings you want to change). Here, we will click on the Text X tab.
2. Under the Text X tab, click on the option of individual settings of axes descriptions at the bottom and Insert dialogue box will open.
3. To turn off the description of particular axis, double click in the Invisible column in the front of axis which you want to turn off and accept. Here we will turn of Axis A.
4. You will observe that description of axis A is getting turned off and X mark will appear in front of axis A.
5. We can also edit the description of axis from the ‘Main Axis column’. Here, the default axis descriptions are A,B,C,D etc. To change them, just double click on the axis name in ‘Main Axis column’ which you want to change, and press accept. Here, we will change all the axis descriptions.
6. By the above procedure we and edit all the descriptions and as you make changes in the default descriptions the X mark will appear in the ‘Manual’ Column denoting that these descriptions are manually changed.
7. After accepting, we can see that, new descriptions are updated in the workframe.
8.) Follow the same procedure to change settings of axes descriptions in Y direction from Text Y tab. In this way, we can control the settings for individual axes descriptions from the workframe settings dialogue (shown below).
