In Rebar placement, it is very common to look for different kind of Positioning result especially for Vary Bars. This document will explain what are the possibilities are available in ProConcrete.
Before explanation, let us understand the Options lies in Single Rebarset tool
To explain this let us take 4 examples of Rebarset. Following are the snapshots of these 4 examples.
(A) Example 1:
Rebars are placed using Single Rebarset and placed in such way to get Vary set.
Expectation:
To get same bar mark for all the Vary bars even though they are having different length
Process:
When you are in Single Rebarset in the Option tab change the Option of vary Code as "S - Same mark" which will force to generate the same mark even though they are having different lengths.
Positioning Result:
(B) Example 2:
With the same example explained above, to get Automatic Bar marks
Process:
Change the Option of vary Code as "A - Auto Mark" which will generate the different marks unique for each bar as they are having different lengths. But in case of same length, it should give same mark for the all with this option.
Positioning Result:
In the Positioning result you can see all the bars get unique Bar Marks as they are of different lengths.
(C) Example 3:
With the same example explained above, to get same bar marks with letter appended like F_1_1_01a, F_1_1_01b.....
Process:
Change the Option of vary Code as "L - Letter Appended" which will generate the same marks but differentiating with letters at end.
Positioning Result:
In Positioning result above, you can see each bar mark is appended with letter which differentiate the bars having different length.
(D) Example 4:
In the following example there is a combination of vary bar and same length of bar. In this case how to get group wise Bar marks
Process:
Change the Option of vary Code as "L - Letter Appended" which will generate the same marks but differentiating with letters at end.
Here you can see the Bar Marks are generated group wise but with same marks. There are four groups as shown in the above image and accordingly you are getting the Bar Marks as Grouped.
So these are the various possibilities of getting the Bar Marks when there are Vary Bars. Please note that this is also applicable for Irregular Dispatch Method too.
