Several delimiter styles are available within the Delimiter Type icon tool box. The delimiter style can be selected (and re-selected) at any stage of the detailing process. Each of these delimiter types is applied in the same manner to radial bar ranges as you would do to parallel bar ranges
This document will guide you on how to set up the different delimiter types for bars in a range or set in the drawing model
1) The first icon – ‘Typical Bar Delimiter’ represents the default delimiter style where a delimiter line is extended out from both sides of the typical bar to each external limit of the range
2) The ‘Adjust Delimiter’ buttons will allow you to move the delimiter line as per your requirement
3) The next icon – ‘Start Bar Delimiter’ causes the first bar in the range to be drawn and a single delimiter line is then extended from this external bar to the opposite side of the range
Similarly, the third icon – ‘End Bar Delimiter’ will display the last bar in the range and then the delimiter line will be extended to the opposite end
4) The fourth Delimiter Type - 'Internal Dual Bar Delimiter', details both the first and last bars in the range and a delimiter line is then drawn across the range to link both bars
5) The fifth Delimiter Type – ‘External Typical Bar Delimiter’ option will allow you to move the delimiters beyond the ends of the bars in the range while retaining the typical type bar delimiter display
6) The ‘Switch’ button will allow you to set the external delimiter lines to the opposite side
7) The last Delimiter Type – ‘External Dual Bar Delimiter’ option allows you to move the delimiters beyond the ends of the last two bars in the range. The delimiter are placed outside the concrete outline
In this way, one can set up different delimiter styles to detail the 2D rebars for reinforced concrete structures
