Many users generate the in-drawing partlists (Bill of Material) in different colors and line weights. This feature is now available in the ProStructures CONNECT Edition Update 6 where users can apply color and line weight to the Bill of material table (i.e. to the table borders and text).
In this wiki, we will learn steps to apply the color and line weight to the Bill of material table.
Note: This feature is introduced in ProStructures CONNECT Edition Update 6. So, the users using older versions will not see these color and line weight options.
Method
1. Create an In-Drawing partlist for the elements in the model. If the partlist (Bill of Material) is already created, then double click on it.
2. Under the insert tab, select the style and click on the magnifier to edit the partlist style.
3. This will open the ‘Partlist Style’ dialog and here, under the ‘Color and Line Weight’ section, you can assign the line weights to the table borders and color to it.
4. Also, you can assign the color to the Header and part list text. (Refer to the image below for a better understanding)
5. In this easy way, one can assign the color and line weights to the table borders and color to the text in the Bill of Material.
