Overview

This wiki shows how the connected shapes get updated along with the workframe lines when we change the Workframe dimensions like Length, Width & Height.

Limitations

The option "Update connected Shapes" under the Views tab of Workframe tool will only work on some specific condition, these conditions are as follows-

1. All Shapes need to be placed on Workframe level only. So you need to switch off the PS OBJECT Level while placing the shapes.
2. It will only work when shapes are placed using "Insert Shape on Line method".
3. It will only work with Shapes placed on Workframe, So if any shapes are split in between, then those will not react with Workframe dimension change.

Steps to be follow

Please follow the below steps to achieve this.

1. Place a Workframe and under the Views tab, enable Update connected Shapes.

2. Now, turn off the PS_OBJECT level from the Level Display dialog.

3. Place the shapes using Insert Shape on Line button as shown in the below image.

4. Now, turn on the level PS_OBJECT and open Workframe dialog, change the values (Length, Width & Height) to see the effect.

Note: The members will not react to the changes in the workframe size if you insert the shapes with any other methods. Also, does not react if you insert these members on PS_OBJECT grid lines.

In this way, you can achieve this.
