How can you set the output path for plot files such as PLT or PDF?
1) This is done via the MicroStation variables. To do this, switch to the Configuration Settings.
2) Select Settings in the list on the left, then Configuration and now Configuration Variables on the right.
3) Then select Print in the list on the left and scroll to the variable MS_PLTFILES or enter this variable name directly when searching.
4) Set edit mode to overwrite. Enter the desired path under New value. Make sure that there is also the slash \ at the end. If the existing value is deleted and thus remains free, the last path used is automatically suggested.
Alternatively, the following variable can also be used for the drawing path of the currently open model: $ (_ DGNDIR)
5) Close all dialogs and confirm the storage query with Yes. Now the preset path for the printout in files should be adopted.
