Problem

Sometimes, there are some operations where for selection of elements, the fencing/ drag operation is not necessary. In this case, it is always easy to work if the fencing operation is turned off.

In this wiki, we will learn how to switch off the drag operation in the ProStructures CONNECT Edition.

Solution

1. First, navigate to the user settings at backstage, File>Settings>User>Preferences.

2. Under the preferences, go to the input settings and check the option ‘Disable Drag Operations’

3. This will turn off the fencing operation which will avoid the selection and moving of unnecessary elements by mistake.
