Problem

How to change the direction of shape ?

Solution

Enter methods to resolve in this section. In this example, we have a plate whose shorter side is set as length. 



For this, tick on the ECS Axes in the PS Properties > Layout > Options. 



Now, to change the direction of the plate, you need to select the Plate dimensions button in the Plates command. 



Then it will prompt you to select the concerned plate and then select a line / edge of the object to be adopted for the new orientation.



And the new direction is taken over.

It is also possible to take direction at any angle. 



NOTE : The alignment of the 2D draft is taken from this setting.
