Problem Description
Could you please help me find the setting where this plate (picture) would be positioned with the sides vertical, and the dimension lines orthogonal? Currently, it's showing as in the below snapshot.
Steps to resolve
Enter methods to resolve in this section.
1. Open the Plates tool located at Steel workflow > Home > Steel Placement > Plates.
2. Select the Set the calculation direction of the plate dimensions button.
3. Now, select the plate and then select the line to define the length of the plate
4. Go to the Detail Center > View tab, preview the plate 2D drawing and open the Detail Style.
5. Go to Default Setting > Common and make sure that the Alignment and Reference view are set as shown in the below image. Once you set this then update the preview.
6. Now, the result will be as shown in the below image.
