Problem

When one switches display style from wire-frame to shaded mode, there can be a possibility that holes drilled in the plate may disappear. To fix this issue, follow the steps below:

Solution

1. Double click on the plate or open the PS properties of the plate by holding right click on the plate.



2. Then the properties dialogue box will open up.



3. Now, under the general tab select the ‘layout’ option.



4. Under the layout menu, in holes option, set the display type of holes to ‘Real Holes’.



5. Switching the hole display to real holes will make the holes appear in shaded mode. Refer the image below for more understanding.



In this way, one can avoid the issue of disappearing holes in the shaded mode.
