Overview

Sometimes client have requirement to add Couplers at end of Rebar to connect other Rebar. In ProConcrete this can be achieved through Mechanical Devices via End Conditions.
This document will explain how to add Mechanical Device as End Condition of Rebar at the end of Rebar

Method

In Every Rebar tool there is End condition Tab where we can set the properties of End Condition. We can bend or can set rebar to an angle. Also we can add Mechanical Devices.
And if further we need any End preparation, we can set up here. The below image shows the End Condition Tab in various Rebar tool.

In Each End Condition there are three dots at Type at extreme left "...". By clicking on that button a new dialog box Rebar End Properties will open which will allow us to set up the properties of End condition.
In that dialog box one can set up the Mechanical Device, where you can get all the couplers as per the Manufacturer catalogue.

By checking on the Check Box of Mechanical Device, it will activate to select the Manufacturer, Type and Device

After applying you can get the Rebar with Couplers. Below is shown one example with Mechanical Device used as Terminator.
