When working with congested rebars in a large concrete model, it is hardly to recognize the difference between bar diameters. This document will guide you on how to set rebar colors based on their diameters.
For the example, we will be using a rectangular column as shown below.
1. On your preferred Display Style, go to its Display Rule. This can be accessed in the Display Style dialog (Drawing workflow > View > Presentation). Click on the small arrow icon at the bottom-right of the Presentation ribbon and the dialog will show up.
2. Click on the drop-down menu of Display Rule section. Create your Display Rule set which can be found at the bottom of the menu.
3. On the Display Rule dialog, you may add a new one or modify the existing. Right-click on any created or existing display rule for the option to rename. Click on the Generate option to start defining conditions and and actions of your required rule.
4. On the Generate Display Rules dialog, set the following conditions.
On the Values dialog, select the required diameters. Please note that the available diameter values are based on the Rebar Code preference and the rebars present on your 3D Model.
5. On the same dialog, enable the color and color fill overrides under Actions section. To modify/edit the colors in the straight-line color diagram, right-click on the ends of the diagram and the edit option will show up.
6. You may check the preview at the bottom of the Generate Display Rule dialog. Once finalized, click Generate to apply.
You may now easily recognize the similar and different bar diameters on your 3D model by following these simple steps.
