One can now place custom rebar schedules directly in the 2D drawings / sheets using the Schedule Generator tool. This schedule also allows a number of customizations with respect to the data to be included, grouping of similar information, and controlling the style of display.
1) Make sure to turn on the 3D rebar levels in your sheet model; as currently, the Schedule Generator recognizes only 3D rebars. You can do that using the Level Display tool.
2) Now select the 3D rebars that you want to include in the schedule.
3) Then, in the Data/Reporting tab, click on the Schedule Generator tool.
4) The Schedule will then open up blank. You need to click on the Load Selected Rebar Elements button on this tool and then the rebars will get loaded in this.
5) Then move to the next tab in the tool, that is, Custom Schedule.
6) Here you can choose to add more data columns in the schedule or alternatively, even remove any non-essential information by using the data available in the drop-down list and Add/Remove buttons.
7) Once you have edited all the required information to be displayed on the schedule and the same meets your requirements / standards, you can insert it in your sheet model by clicking on the Place New Custom Table button.
8) Drag the cursor to the required location and then left click to place the new rebar schedule on your sheet.
9) Your final Custom Rebar Schedule will be placed on the 2D sheet and the same can then be printed.
In this manner, one can create Custom Rebar Schedules and directly place the same on 2D sheets.
In the above illustrated workflow we have generated a custom schedule. To achieve the same, you can download and use the template attached below.
