Overview

In this wiki, we will learn how to create a bar bending schedule/concrete partlist for the placed rebars in the concrete model.

Steps to follow

Here, for the demonstration purpose, we will create a partlist for slab reinforcement.

1. Before creating a concrete partlist/bar bending schedule, it is important position the rebars. So, we will position the rebars with the use of option concrete positioning which is located under the ‘Data Reporting’ tab.

2. After positioning, go to the ‘Create Concrete Partlist’ option under the Data/reporting>Reporting.

3. The ‘Partlist Creation’ dialog will appear. In this dialog, change the settings as per your requirement and then click on OK button.

4. After applying the settings then, select the rebars for which you want to make a partlist/bar bending schedule and then accept.

5. After choosing and accepting the rebars for scheduling, the Partlist Print dialog will appear. In this dialog, you can choose the ‘List file’ by clicking on the folder icon (as shown below) as per the requirement of the data to be shown in the partlist/schedule.

6. Clicking on the folder icon will open the path for choosing the list file i.e. .lst file. You can choose any list file from the desired WorkSpace.

7. You can also make the changes in the selected .lst file from the option ‘Edit Partlist Definition’ as shown below.

8. Once you are done with these steps, then, click on the preview partlist option.

9. Clicking on the preview partlist will the ‘Print Options’ dialog where you can set the print and preview settings. Here, we will see the preview first to check how the partlist/scheduling looks like and click on the ‘Start button’ .

10. The preview will appear showing the whole schedule/partlist for the selected rebar elements. After verifying the schedule from the preview, you can further go for printing.

In this way, a Bar Bending Schedule/Concrete Partlist can e created for the Rebar elements.
