Overview

We have the option to create Drawing Partlist in ProSteel. But for ProConcrete, there is no ready made tool available for creating Drawing Partlist in 2D drawing for Reinforced Concrete structure.
The Workflow is different in ProConcrete than ProSteel. In ProConcrete drawings are created via Dynamic View feature. But we can insert Drawing Partlist in 2d drawing via Place Table feature.
This document will explain how "Place Table" feature can insert Partlist in 2D Drawing Sheet.

Method

Place Table feature allows to Place table via importing the Partlist (in Excel format) created according to user defined selection set. Following steps will explain how to achieve that.

  1. Model a reinforced concrete object
  2. Create a Drawing and a Sheet
  3. In the 3D model Create a report using Create Concrete Partlist
  4. Export it to an Excel file

  5. Switch to Sheet
  6. Run Place Table command

  7. Select 3rd icon – Excel file
  8. Browse Exported file by clicking on the "..." button as marked

  9. Place it on the sheet and you will get the following output.
