When using the view tools "Select View" or "Object view Centered" To re-display the model the "Regenerate" and "Display all hidden classes" buttons do not work.
The only way I have found to re-display the model is to use the "Aeroplane view" However this obviously zooms to extents and re-orientates the view.
Is there any way to get the view to re-display without zooming and re-orientating?
Please follow the below steps to achieve this.
1. Open your model.
2. Use Object View Centered to set an ACS and view the model in the required orientation.
3. Now, rotate the model and you can see the only some elements that fall under the specific Clip Plane distance.
4. After using Object View Centered, if you want to regain all elements back to the model without changing the ACS then you need to click on the Clip Planes Off button. The button is located under the View ribbon tab > Clip > Clip Planes Off.
5. In the below image you can see all the elements are reappeared in the model without changing the ACS.
Note: If the Clip Planes Off tool doesn’t work, please turn off the Clip Volume in the View Attribute dropdown.
In this way, you can regain all the elements back to the model without changing the ACS and without using the Regenerate and Display All Hidden Classes tools.
