Background

Here we have a look at the question how to work with various hatch-styles in cuts. Our example is a cut through steel and concrete:

Steps to Accomplish

Step 1: Defining various Hatch-Styles

As you can see below the Hatch Styles are defined at 2D Display/ Common/ Line Display/ Hatch styles; they are defined by name, pattern, angle, scale, lineweight and colour; the definition is executed by the round-arrow-button.

Step 2: Assinging Hatch-Styles

The assigning is defined at 2D Display/ Views/ Object display according to the objecttype:

In some cases it might be neccessary to differentiate parts by assigning a ProSteel Description (e.g. plates that are supposed to represent glass or concrete). Do so by marking the "Display Group" then Contextmenu: "Add parts":

Step 3: Preview with various hatches
