Problem

Sometimes while working with 2D Detail Center, users may enable the display of cut/sections. In some cases, users may want to create their own template for the section symbol which appears in drawing. This wiki will show you how to create own section symbol template which you will be able to select in the Detail Center as well.

Solution

1. First, navigate to tool ‘Manual 2D Section’ located under Drawing production> Detailing.



2. This will open the Manual 2D Cut dialog box. Under the options tab, set the required parameter such as label, sign, text style, color etc.



3. After setting the parameter, click on template button and save the template with the new name.

4.Now, go to Detail Center again. Then edit the required style and under Detail Style dialog box, drop down for section symbol template as shown below. In the drop down you can see the saved templates and you can use them in your drawing.




5. In this way you can create own template for the section symbol and use them in your drawing generated from Detail Center.
