Overview

In the past we have received multiple requests for the option to allow Components of different facings to join to each other.  As a result, this option was added as a Component Preference. The steps below detail the process to enable this feature.

1. Load a session of Piping and login to a Project of your choice.
2. Load the Component Preferences Menu, and Right click in the lower section of the preferences, select the option to add a new preference.

                              

      3. In the Result Field pull-down menu, select the option for AT_IGNORE_FACE and Press OK

                              

      4. You should now the new Component Preference in the Component Preferences menu.  Toggle it on and off to adjust whether

           AutoPLANT restricts connections based on Facing.
