Overview
In certain scenarios, it may be required to have a custom title / description text for the 2D Fabrication Drawings depending on organization standards or project requirements. You can set up a custom title for these 2D drawings in ProSteel by creating a special label and then selecting the same while creation of 2D drawings via the 2D Detail Center - Standard.
This document will guide you on how to set up a custom label with all required specifications & styles and then create your desired title for the respective 2D fabrication drawing via the 2D Detail Center – Standard.
Method
1) Create a custom text style if required to apply to the 2D title that is being created.
2) Now, click on the ‘Place Label’ command and set up the required parameters and text that you want displayed as the title of your 2D drawing.
3) Once you have set up the required information to display as text, the size, color, text style, you then need to save the same as a template.
4) Then click on the 2D Detail Center Standard and open the Detail Style to edit the style.
5) In the ‘Edit Detail Style’, navigate to the ‘Text display’ under 2D Display > Common and select the Label style created in Step # 03 under the drop down list for ‘Detail Text Template’.
6) Once you have set this you can then choose to produce the 2D detail drawing and the title will be created as set in the Label template.
In this manner, you can create a custom title for your 2D Fabrication Drawings.
