Problem

While using the collision detection tool, in the options tab, there are the options for checking the collisions which are greyed out.

In this wiki, we will learn how to enable options available for collision check.

Solution

1. Under the steel workflow, go to the Collision Detection tool located under the utility tab.

2. Now, navigate to the options tab and you will observe that the options for checking the collision against are greyed out.

3. This is not a problem in the program but, this happens as there is an option ‘Get all Collisions’ in the ‘Values’ tab which is checked.

4. As this option is checked, which allows you to check for collisions against all kinds of elements. Unchecking this option will make other separate options active for checking the collisions (in the ‘options’ tab)
