In the latest MicroStation update 17, we have introduced a new feature “Manage Configuration” where one can create new configurations and can manage existing configurations as well.
In the previous updates of ProStructures, if we define our custom configuration path in ConfigurationSetup.cfg (Wiki) then it gets loaded automatically in the WorkSpace dropdown. But in the latest update, one needs to add the custom configuration manually.
This wiki will guide you how one can configure their custom configuration in the ProStructures CONNECT Edition Update 7 (10.07.00.79) & above using this Manage Configuration feature.
Please follow the below steps to achieve this.
1. On the WorkPage of ProStructures, go to the top-left corner and click on the Manage Configuration.
2. In the Manage Configuration dialog, click on the Add button.
3. In the New Configuration dialog, you can Specify your Custom Configuration Name, Description and select the Type of drive then browse to your custom configuration folder (Not the WorkSpace folder). Once done click on the OK button.
Then your custom configuration will be added to the Manage Configuration dialog.
And the same you can also see it in the Configuration section where all of your WorkSpaces get loaded.
In this way, one can add/configure their custom configuration.
Wonder where these settings get stored? Then please follow the below wiki article.
