Problem

In drawings, there can be a requirement where users want to show the position flags only in the primary or first view of the drawing.



In this wiki, we will learn how to achieve this result with the required settings in the Detail Style.

Solution

1. Under the Steel workflow, navigate to the Drawing production>Detailing>Detail Center Standard.

2. Right click on the Detail Style which needs to be edited and click on the ‘Edit style’

3. Now, expand the Descriptions tab and click on the Position Flags. Here, under general settings turn on the option ‘Only first part view.

4. Now, update the preview, and enabling this option will show the position flags only in the first view.

In this way, one can control the display of position flags in the drawings generated from the Detail Center Standard.
