Overview

When creating 2D drawings such as View and Part details, it is necessary to display the names of views/parts in their corresponding 2D drawings for improved detailing productivity. This document will guide you on how to enable these names in simple steps.

Steps to follow

1. Edit the required Detail Style in the Detail Center.

2. In the Detail Style dialog, navigate to Descriptions > Additional text.

3. Under Detail description, check the Shape Description option as shown below.

Applying this option will allow the user to display the names of the views/parts of their 2D drawings as per required.
