The diameter symbol in the drawing has some default assigned color which may not be properly visible on the sheet. In that case, we may need to change the color of the symbol and dimension text for its proper visibility. In this wiki, we will learn the steps to change the color of the dimension symbol in the drawing.
The dimension and units symbol colors are white, and cyan by default which may not be visible on the sheet properly.
Hence, one needs to change the color of the dimension and unit symbols.
1. First, preview the drawing and check the level on which dimensions are located.
2. Afterwards, navigate to the level manager tool, and look for that level. Here, dimensions and unit symbols are located on the PS_DIM level.
3. Now, in the level manager, go to the level PS_DIM and change its color to some other color that will be properly visible on the sheet.
4. Click ‘OK’ and then generate the preview again which will show the changed color for the dimension level.
In this way, users can change the color of the level on which dimensions are on and make them properly visible in the sheet model.
