How to Create a Custom Joint

 This article will explain the procedure of how to create a new custom Joint.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Open OpenPlant_3D.01.04.ecschema with the Class Editor, Supplement it with OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Modeling.01.04.ecschema and in the Joint Class add a new Joint type:



  2. In Weld Value Map Class Select Properties Tab, Copy and Paste similar WELD Property.



  3. Change copied Properties Values, edit Applied Custom Attributes Location to OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Modeling.01.04 and save the schema changes.





  4. Use specification with required End condition.

  5. Create a new model and verify the results.
