In some cases, the ProStructures application does not open up / work / freezes mid-way or consumes a lot of memory and abruptly shuts down. Even after un-installing and re-installing, the application still does not function properly.
In such scenario, please follow the below steps.
1. Uninstall ProStructures from your system.
2. Now, delete all the locally saved / stored ProStructures app data which is by default located at the below locations -
C:\Program Files\Bentley\ProStructures CONNECT Edition\
C:\ProgramData\Bentley\ProStructures CONNECT Edition\
C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Bentley\ProStructures\
C:\Users\<UserName>\\AppData\Roaming\Bentley\ProStructures\
C:\ProgramData\Bentley\ProStructures\
C:\Users\<UserName>\\AppData\Local\Temp\Bentley\ProStructures\
NOTE: These locations may vary depending upon where these folders have been set-up during the initial installation.
3. After this, one can then restart the machine
4. Now, go forward to re-install the ProStructures application. ProStructures then should work as normal without any issues.
P.S. - Please have a backup of all necessary and important files before deleting any content in the above-mentioned paths like your personal dgnlib in the subfolder Prefs of AppData\local.
