Overview

This wiki explains how to recover the corrupted DWG file in ProSteel for AutoCAD.

Steps to be follow

Please follow the below steps to achieve this.

1. Open ProSteel for AutoCAD.

2. Type Recover and hit Enter key.

3. Select the file which you want to recover and click on the Open button.

4. It will take some time to recover the file and once recovered the below dialog pops up with some data.

5. Now run the audit to correct some errors if exists from the Drawing Utilities > Audit.

6. Use the option 6 from the PS_REBUILD command to remove Modeler errors parts from the model.

7. Now use PS Export to export this file to PSB file format.

8. Then open empty file and use PS Import to import this PSB file.

9. Save the file.

In this way, one can recover the corrupted DWG file in ProSteel for AutoCAD.
