Background:

Users may have the requirement of adding Custom Attributes in the symbols which are not present by default. This document can be referred for the steps to add Custom Symbol Text Attributes. 

Steps to Accomplish

1. Open Symbol creation from Manage >> Create Symbol under Catalogs. 




2. In Symbol Creation Wizard select any symbol creation method using which the custom attribute needs to be added. 



3. Select Next until step Step 6: Specify Attributes, now click on the Append "+" Button.

 

4. In Append Attribute Dialog Enter the values of Name and Prompt for the new attribute. The Prompt will be the value that will be seen and then click OK.

6. The Attribute has been saved and stored in Multi_Language_UI.mdb, complete the symbol creation process.
