Background:

Most of the users will need a custom Logo as part of their Title Block Design. In this Wiki Article, we will have a look at how to create a Logo and Insert it into Title Block. This can also be done for already existing title blocks in which the logo had been placed and currently it cannot be seen when a new Title Block is created.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Launch Promis.e CONNECT in MicroStation Mode. 

2. Create a new DGN  using the New File option for Logo and Save it. 

3. Launch Microsoft Paint and then select File >> Open to open the Image file containing the Logo. 

4. Place a Rectangle Selection Shape on the Logo Image for selecting the area that needs to be used in creating the Logo and then Select Copy . 

5. Go back to Promis.e CONNECT MicroStation mode where the Logo DGN is open and then Right - Click in the DGN and select Paste from Clipboard. 

6. In Paste OLE Object dialog select Embedded as Paste as options and then place two data points on the DGN to place the Logo.

7. After the Logo has been placed select File >> Save Setting. 

8. Launch Promis.e CONNECT normally and open any Project Page, then go to Manage >> Title Block Designer >> select existing Title Block for editing and select Next to go to Step 3.

9. In Step 3 Select the Logo DGN using the Logo Option. 

10. Use Specify On Screen options to place the Logo in Title Block Designer. 





11. Go to Step 4 and save the Title Block by selecting Finish.
