How to place beams using Insert Beams at Workframe Axes option?

Overview

In this wiki we are going to see how one can place the beams using the   Insert Beams At Workframe Axes option. There are three ways to use this option to place beams at Workframe axes.

Steps to be follow

Please follow the below steps to achieve this.

1. Open the Beam dialog located at Concrete workflow > Home > Concrete Placement > Beam.

2. Set your required values for the beam. Now, there are three ways to use this   Insert Beams At Workframe Axes option.

I) Place beams at Workframe axes at current ACS plane inside a rectangular shape (Left-click on  ):

i. Left-click on the   Insert Beams At Workframe Axes button.

ii. Draw a rectangular shape enclosing required Workframe axes to place beams.

iii. Now, the beams will be placed at current ACS plane as shown in the below image.

II) Place beams at Workframe axes at current ACS plane inside a polygon (ALT+ ):

i. Hold ALT key and left-click on the   Insert Beams At Workframe Axes button.

ii. Draw a polygon enclosing required Workframe axes to place beams.

iii. Now, the beams will be placed at current ACS plane as shown in the below image.

III) Place beams at all levels of Workframe axes inside a rectangular shape (CTRL+ ):

i. Hold CTRL key and left-click on the   Insert Beams At Workframe Axes button.

ii. Draw a rectangular shape enclosing required Workframe axes to place beams.

iii. Now, the beams will be placed at all levels of Workframe axes as shown in the below image.
