Overview

It is possible to construct in free space like shape by shape. But it makes sense to start with a Workframe for following reasons:
- It provides a base structure for inserting shapes later on
- The workframe includes view frames for an easy navigation
- From this Workframes it is possible to create 2D drawings

Steps to be follow

Please follow the below steps to achieve this.

1. Under the Steel workflow, navigate and left-click on  Workframe button located at Home > Elements > Workframe.

2.You will be prompted to choose a location in your workspace for this workframe, right click to set it to ACS automatically.

3.You will now be prompted for the direction along which the front of the workframe should travel. Come along the X-Axis and left click.

4.The Workframe dialog should now appear. It is about layout and size, our sample project has a rectangular workframe 4000x3000x3000.

Apply the below settings to the following tabs:

a. Workframe Layout: Retangular
b. Dimensions and Divisions: Length: 4000, 2; Width: 3000, 2; Height: 3000, 2;
c. Height is Absolute: Should be unchecked
d. Axis Descriptions: Should be checked
e. Roof Angle: 10 degrees

Now the size of the Workframe should be as shown in the below. Click on the OK button to close the dialog.
