Problem Description

During PSDS conversion, all gaskets do not get converted from PSDS Spec to OpenPlant Modeler Spec. After running the exchange spec, only few gaskets are converted which are also triplicated. STOCK_CODE is assigned to each gasket which is a unique identifier.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Launch Class Editor V8i 08.26 from start menu.

  2. Open ‘OpenPlant_CustomAttributes.08.11.ecschema.xml’ by navigating to folder \\WorkSpace\OPModeler\schemas.

  3. Again open ‘OpenPlant_3D.01.06.ecschema.xml’ by navigating the project folder.

  4. Supplement this with two schema’s ‘OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Mapping_PSDS.01.06.ecschema.xml’ & ‘OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Modeling.01.06.ecschema.xml’ schema.

  5. Go to GASKET class and add the mapping for Raised Face gasket as highlighted below.

  6. Map the psds TYPE property with OpenPlant property. Let's take ALIAS property for example. User can create their own property. Add 'PSDS Catalog Property Map' custom attribute.

  7. Add TYPE in the property name in custom attribute.

  8. Add another custom attribute 'OpenPlant_Physical_Catalogue_Property_Map' and add GASKET_TYPE in property name.

  9. Similarly, map default STOCK_NUMBER property with PSDS property STOCK_CODE.

  10. Save the changes in schema.

  11. Now open the mapping database file from \\%Project Root%\Dataset\Mapping Databases\ folder as highlighted in below snapshot.

  12. Add below highlighted entries in GASKET_TYPE table.

  13. Open Mapping Info table and add the new mapping for RF gasket as highlighted below.

  14. Save the changes and run the conversion again to verify the result.
