In Specification Generator, to filter the data based on multiple selections under Catalog Editor Table. 

Background

with the use of Specification generator, user can filter the data based on Multiple selections which allow user to work diligently & further update the information thus avoid confusion and reducing errors.  Below Steps describes the scenario to use feature. In Specification Generator, to filter the data based on multiple selections under Catalog Editor Table

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch Open Plant Specification Generator & select project unit.

  2. From File Menu, Select Catalog Editor to launch. See image below. 



  3. Open Existing file by navigating to Catalog Database folder. 



  4. Select a Table to Open/Edit. Say Pipe here. Check Total Data present in table like shown in below image. 



  5. To filter the data based on Multiple selection, click on and cell, Say to filter based on PIECE_MARK entry. Right Click on it and select Filter-> “Filter By Multiple Values”. See image below.



  6. Select Filter items as desired. See image below.



  7. Click on “Filter By Selected Items” option present in dialog box.

  8. See Filter items. Also check count mentioned in lower left pane. See image below. 



    Note User can click on Show All option to regain whole list.
