An anchor bolt is used to attach objects or structures to concrete.They can also be used to firmly affix embed plates to a concrete foundation when used with a structural steel element. In most of the case Anchor Rod is bolted with Base Plate. But in some cases, user needs to place Anchor Rod without plate.
This document will explain how to place Anchor Rod without any Base Plate
To place Anchor Rod, we will use Anchor Bolts tool under Steel Workflow Home > Elements
Please follow the below steps
1. By clicking on to this tool, Anchor Bolt dialog will open with lot of parameters to define.
3. Here you can adjust and define various parameters and then just click on the 6th icon from left, which will allow you to place Anchor Rod without plate.
4. It will ask you to select first point and then will ask to select second point along the length and then in XY plane select the third point. Your Anchor Rod will be placed then.
